Navigating product choices can be challenging, but we have simplified the process. Explore the defined terms below to effortlesly pinpoint the perfect match for your needs.

​​“Added Backing” refers to extra support added on our accessibility/assisted living products. The extra support gives users an added level of stability when adding one of our accessibility/assisted living upgrades.

​

“AirTherapy” refers to an additional upgrade that uses small air jets to release thousands of tiny bubbles, creating a gentle, full-body massage that soothes and rejuvenate. A spa like comfort in your own bathtub.

​

“Apron Series” refers to a feature provided to our skirted/apron bathtubs. User’s have two options for this series.

  • Flange Series (FL) is the complete removal of the skirt/apron

  • Wood Apron Series (WA) is the complete removal of the skirt/apron and is replaced with a wood apron.

​

“ChromaTherapy” refers to an additional upgrade that uses soft, ambient LED lighting in the bathtub to enhance relaxation and well-being through the therapeutic power of colour.

​

“Collection” refers to the array of products we have uniquely tailored for over 40 years to meet a variety of needs.

​

“Dimensions” refers to the range of sizes within our products. Venco ® offers a variety tailored to your preference.

​

“Drain Location” refers to the positioning of the drain on our products. Our offerings include options for center, left or right drain placement to accommodate your preference.

​

“Elements by Venco ®” refers Venco’s premium spa upgrade. Combing the therapeutic powers of AirTherapy, HydroTherapy, & ChromaTherapy. This upgrades brings the elements of Air, Water, & Light together.

​

“Installation” refers to the different versatile ways our products can be installed to suit your preference.

Bathtub Installation

  • Drop-In (DI) bathtubs simply settle into a pre-cut hole.

  • Skirted/Alcove (SK) bathtubs are installed in a recessed nook within a room, and are surrounded by walls on three sides.

  • Corner (CR) bathtubs are roughly triangular-shaped in order to fit to the corner of your room

  • Freestanding (FS) bathtubs are visually-striking focal points in your room. This tub can be accessed from all sides of the room.

“HydroTherapy” refers to an additonal upgrade that uses powderful water jets strategically placed in the bathtub to deliver a deep, targeted massage, easing muscle tension and promoting relaxation. A spa like comfort in your own bathtub.

​

“Integral Arm Rests” refers to a design feature to select tubs, which provide additonal support and comfort to enhance your bathing experience.

 

“Integral Flange” refers to a feature engineered to safeguard against water infilitration behind the wall during your bath or shower, ensuring a watertight experience.

  • Single Flange (SF) allows you to install your bath/shower right upaginst the wall. The tile sits on the deck of the bath/shower.

  • Double Flange (DF) has the tile sit on a 1” (or so) raised platform from the tub deck, giving an extra safeguard against water infiltration behind the wall.

“Integral Foot Rest” refers to a design feature that lets users slightly elevate their foot while bathing/showering. Foot rests are great for easier accessibility when washing your feet or shaving your legs.

 

“Integral Seat” refers to the built in seat in the bath/shower product. Product offering consist of 1 or 2 seats and are added to enhance the bathing experience, giving users luxury to just “sit back and relax.”

 

“Integral Soap Shelf” refers to an built in shelf that is great for holding bathroom accessories such as soaps and bottles.

 

“L-Bar” refers to the available upgrade on our accessibility/assisted living products. An “L” shaped bar is added for user support and stability.

​

“Leveling Feet” refers to the adjustable support feet designed specifically to ensure a perfectly leveled installation for your product.

 

“Material” refers to the composition of our products, detailing from what they are crafted.

  • Acrylic (ACR)

  • Gelcoat (GEL)

  • Solid Surface (SS)

 

“Padded Seat”  refers to the additon of a foldable seat in our accessibility/assisted living products.

“Pillow” refers to an additonal upgrade that provides cushioned support for the head and neck.

​

“Product Number” refers to the unique code assigned to each product. Product numbers serve as comprehensive indicators, encompassing details such as collection, size, installation, and upgrades.

 

“Profile” refers to the the height of the threshold or step over height. Standard profiles are above 3” and low profiles are 3” or below.

 

“Textured Bottom” refers to a design feature aimed at preventing slips, ensuring a secure and anti-slip experience.

 

“Threshold” refers to the portion of a shower base that is finished. The type of threshold you will need varies on where you would like to access the base from as well as the number of walls the base is going against. Venco ® offers four different thresholds:

  • Single Threshold (ST) are shower bases where only one side of the shower base is finished. These typically are installed into a nook and are surrounded by three walls.

  • Double Threshold (DT) are shower bases where two sides of the shower base are finished. These typically are installed against two walls. These are offered in a Left or a Right depending on the placement of your wall.

  • Universal Threshold (UT) are shower bases that feature a finished threshold on all four sides. These bases come with independent tile flanges, providing you with the flexibilty to install with any threshold that suits your preferences.

  • Neo Threshold (NT) are shower bases that are roughly triangular-shaped that go into the corner of your room.

“Towel Bar” refers to added bars that can give users ease of access to towels.

 

“U-Bar” refers to the available upgrade on our accessibility/assisted living products. A “U” shaped bar is added for user support and stability.

 

“Walls Sets” refers to products that have accompanying walls. Products are offered in two options:

  • One Piece (1PC) wall sets are already integrated into the bathtub or base. They are one complete unit.

  • Two Piece (2PC) wall sets are separate wall units that can be accompanied to specific bathtubs or bases. They come as two separate pieces.
